i like this one of my mom. i think it works best in black and white.
this is one of the most emotional photos that i have
i wanted her wrinkles to really stand out.

This is depression. Originally I took it upside down and I can't decide which one I like better. I flipped it this way becasue it is easier to read the facial expression, but i think it is more interesting to look at the other way. I have a bunch of other poses and angles of different depression shots but I liked this one the best.

i like this photo a lot. i think that it shows just the amount of emotion that i want to be portrayed in my images. i like the lighting and the colors. i also like the veins in his neck bulging.
i also really like this. it is a reallllly good representation of the feeling that i want for the beginning stages of my project. i like how you cant see her face but you can still almost feel everything she is feeling.

next steps:
1) take another/ better "shock" picture possibly of someone with freckles or wrinkles or some interesting detail on the face. i like this to be close up.
2) think more about how i want to portray "denial". i really have no idea about this one.
3) do the wide angle lense, girl OR GUY on bathroom floor with clutter all around shot.
4) do the "anger" shot with someone throwing a pool chair or something else that is around into a pool. i like the idea of these being the opposite gender as what would be normally assumed. maybe i will use a girl for the anger shot.
